This is an interview with a CSA , we asked Mathew to tell us about some advantages and disadvantages as a CSA
I'm a computer systems analyst, some of my duties include, studying the organization's current computers systems, and their procedures and design solutions to make them work more efficiently and effectively. We bring business and information technology also known as IT,together by understanding the needs and limitations for both
Computer System Analyst
* CSA- Computer System Analyst
One of the advantages od being a CSA is the pay the average pay is $88,270 and the lowest goes $53,750 the highest reaches $139,850 and this is yearly, i believe this is an advantage because be cause we get paid $42.44 per hour
I would say another advantage as a CSA, would be the outlook we are estimated to grow 9% from 2016 to 2026, the further adoption of cloud computing by both large and small business and an increase of IT services in healthcare settings is expected to increase demand for these workers.
A disadvantage as a CSA would be the work environment , we analyst work full time and some of us even work more than 40 hours.
Another disadvantage, would be education all that is required to get this job is a bachelors degree and there is no on-the-job training, i believe this is a disadvantage because some of the new CSA'S in out company don't even know what to do cause they haven't had training
In conclusion the best part of being a CSA has to be the payment, my least favroite part of this job has to be the Schedule, i work full time and sometimes have to cover for some of my coworkers it is stressful but it is worth it. I enjoy this job even tho it has its ups and downs.
