  • And "Glory", which means that the more land or more territories a country has, the more powerful that country has become. 
  • As Europeans also wanted to go to North America for gold, they didn't discovered any gold unlike South America.
  • Although, they found naturals resources such as tobacco in farmlands, timber from forests, and furs from woodlands.
  • Additionally, there was conflict between different versions of Christianity in England and North America as the offical religion was the Church of England.
  • Different versions of Christianity, such as Catholics and Protestant Cristians  seek to go to North America to establish colonies for religious reasons and practice religion in peace..
  • Europeans had also encountered Native Americans as they fought for glory to claim land in America to have stragetic places.
  • Strategic places such as rivers and sea ports to transport goods.
  • But, this caused the Native American population to decrease because of exposed European diseases and battles.
