American Revolution Part 2
This storyboard does not have a description.
After receiving news about the Boston Massacre, the Parliament decided to repeal all of the taxes that were part of the Townshend Act.
Although, the tax on the tea was not repealed as the king wanted everyone to know that Britain still had the power to tax the colonies.
And again, the tax on tea caused several Patriots to rebel against the Parliament and the King in December 16, 1773.
This was known as the Boston Tea Party where the Patriots badly disguised as Indians and dumped the tea onto Boston Harbor.
As several rebelious acts and protests continued against the Parliament and the King , tension between the Patriots and the British grew.
And the Patriots fought against the British army in the American Revolutionary War to gain their independence.
