  • This is the first stage of photosynthesis- The light-dependent reaction. Little Mark will capture the Sun's energy using chlorophyll and store it in his molecules. This reaction occurs in the Grana. Light- Dependant occurs in the Thylakoid.
  • Little Mark is in his first stage of Photosynthesis; he is basking in the Sun.
  • Let's take a trip with Flower Bill and learn about the steps of Photosynthesis!!
  • This is the second stage of photosynthesis- The light dependent reaction. After solar energy is stored in bonds of ATP and NADPH, Water molecules are split into hydrogen and oxygen.
  • This is Jenny- she's in stage two of Photosynthesis. Jenny is enjoying her shower as well as a much needed drink
  • Stage three of photosynthesis is when oxygen is being released as a waste product. Remember, the Chloroplast is where Photosynthesis happens! ATP, NADPH, and H+ exit the Grana and enter the Stroma for the next stage!!
  • Meet Lily, she is in stage 3 of photosynthesis. She is releasing waste.
  • This next stage of photosynthesis is called the Light- Independent and this means that Phil is going to take the energy made from the light- dependent stage and make sugar/Glucose.
  • Occurs in Stroma
  • Over there is Phil and he is in his light- independent stage, which means he is almost fully grown!
  • The Calvin Cycle- This occurs in the light- independent stage. Darrel uses CO2 and H from water and makes Glucose!!
  • This here is Darrel, and he enjoying growing in the Calvin Cycle.
  • The last stage of the light- independent part of photosynthesis.
  • Ruth says hello!! She is very happy today!
