- Leonce the man of the house came home late at night very loud and definitely drunk. He gave little consideration of anyone else and began a ramble. He became annoyed with Edna his wife who was trying to sleep.
- He must be fine I put him to bed and he was perfectly well!
- I am sorry I was just trying to sleep, I should go check on him at once.
- Raoul our son must be sick he has the hottest fever ever, how could you be oblivious and not caring for him.

- Edna went to check on Raoul concerned but also confused. She finds him perfectly fine with no illness or temperature and suddenly becomes very upset and overwhelmed.
- Raoul is just fine, not even the slightest temperature, what was Leonce talking about!
