  • Andrew Johnson was the vice president. He was Abraham Lincoln's right hand man. He  was also apart of the reconstruction
  • Abraham Lincoln 
  • Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States. He started reconstruction in the U.S.
  • Confidence trick
  • The Confidence Trick AKA "The Con" was an attempt to defraud a person or group.   
  • Andrew Johnson  was  the 17th president of the United States, serving from 1865 to 1869. Johnson assumed the presidency as he was vice president of the United States at the time of the assassination of Abraham Lincoln
  • During the American Civil War Lincoln was the first president of the United States to be assassinated. Lincoln has been remembered as the "Great Emancipator" because he worked to end slavery in the United States.
  • The National Police Gazette coined the term "confidence game" a few weeks after Houston first used the name "confidence man". A confidence trick is also known as a con game, a con, a scam, a grift, a hustle, a bunko (or bunco), a swindle, a flimflam, a gaffle or a bamboozle.
