- Brena told Ed Muler at HockeyNet that her and Jake Connelly were dating because he would no stop gushing over jake so she thought if she said that he would pay attention to her and give her the internship but he actually invited them over to his house for dinner.

- Brena and Jake are meeting at the diner and Brena tells him What she told Ed and how they are invited to Ed's house for a dinner. Jake said he would agree only if for every fake date he goes on with her he wants a real date because he thinks they have chemistry.
- Are you joking?
- i told Ed Muler that me and you where dating
- Brena came to see Jake and it started raining so they went inside and no one was supposed to be there but coach pederson walks in on jake and Brena and recognized Brena.
- Jake what are you and Brena Jensen doing here?
- COACH PEDERSON?!!?!
- coach pederson outs Jake and Brena relationship after a hockey game between Briaar and Harvard. When Brenas dad finds out he kicks brena out and she going to live with Jake.

- Coach Pederson makes Jake think that he needs to break up with Brena before the big game. When Jake gets home from practice he Breaks up with Brena and tells her to leave.
- Brena we need to break up so i can focus on the game
- Brena goes to give Jake his lucky bracelet before the big game and Jake apologizes for breaking up with her and begs her to take him back, She says yes and they live happily ever after.
