Daniel Morgan was born July 6, 1736, in Hunterdon County New Jersey.
Time to fight!
Following an argument between him and his father Daniel left the house.
He ended up settling in Charles Town, Virginia at the northern end of the Shenandoah Valley. He gambled, and drinked, and loved fighting.
When the revolutionary war broke out, Daniel morgan was eager to fight.
He won many battles but his main victory was at the battle of saratoga.
Daniel Morgan died on his birthday on July 6, 1802. He was a great general and he should be remembered.
