- You have to follow your personal legend and go to the place shown in your dreams
- You need to see all the marvels of the worlds and never forget the drops of oil on the spoon
- Santiago goes on a journey to learn about his dream

- Santiago goes to a Gypsy and she tells him that his dream is something telling him to pursue his personal legend
- If you achieve your personal legend you will not have anything to live for
- I'm leaving I need to be my own person
- Santiago meets an old man that reads his mind and tells him to pursue his personal dream
- I need to continue to travel to find my legend
- I need to find the Alchemist! I have a rare stone in my bag as well
- Santiago gets robbed in Tangier
- Because Santiago needed money to continue he starts working for the crystal merchant and he teaches him lessons. After seeing how the crystal merchant's life turned out he decided that he had to follow his personal legend. Santiago made a lot of money and left
- Santiago goes and joins a caravan and he meets an Englishman trying to find the Alchemist and is carrying the Elixer of Life
