- uh, you are not circumcising your son. Poor kid.#160;
- I have choose not do circumcise my son#160;because#160;of the risk of surgical complications. Problems that may occur are skin or bloodstream infections, bleeding, gangrene, scarring, and various surgical accidents (Lakeshore pediatrics).#160;
- The risks are not even that high...
- It also causes unnecessary pain. Which is not something I want to put my son through.#160;
- That is understandable.
- It is also very expensive. The cost of circumcision is about $100 per procedure in the U.S. You may have to pay for the procedure yourself because many medical insurance companies do not cover the costs of this procedure (Lakeshore Pediatric).
- Personally I think it is worth the cost.#160;
- Those are easy to treat though.
- But it Protects against urinary tract infections (UTIs) during the first year of life#160;(Lakeshore#160;Pediatrics).
- That is a good reason.
- It decreases the risk for penile cancer and STD's (Lakeshore Pediatrics)
