- As you might of remembered from the last book it ended when the monster ran into the forest. Well in the beginning of the 4th book called the timescape it starts when they think that the monster had ran off but what they didn't know was that it din't go back it attacked the old man before they knew he was gone.

- In this scene Nana as you know came through the portal just like her mother the same thing that happen to her but lets not take about that and her mother is not out from the evil guy. But Nana is trying to get to the portal upstairs because she heard a knocking sounds, so he went to go up there to check but Toria is trying to get her away.
- When all of this was going on Taksidian ordered the creatures to go a attack the house although he wanted it so bad. He did not care if the had to tear the whole house apart one by one just to get those people out.
- *BANG!*the gun shot but did not hit the monster hit the spear man
- As David,Xander,and Keal were fighting off so of the creatures when they were about to kill one of the creatures a spear man jumped out of the portal to save the creatures life but then that creature jumped into the portal so Keal had to get.Or shall I say kill the beast and look around if their mother was there.
- At the end of the book Taksidian came to the house while Keal and the boys were out fighting the creatures away. Nana and Toria were their until David and Xander showed up with Keal.
