- At the first part of the book after from the last book watcher in the woods David and Xander found his self in the house after jumping out of the portal back to the house. Xander thought that he had seen his mother. David was so excited when Xander said that he had seen her but he had really not.
- The Gatekeeper
- In the second part of the book it turns out that a evil man who is helping the man that kidnapped their mother is trying to get the house. But the bad thing is that the man works for the police so he tells the police that kids live there. So the father is arrested for having the kids live in a bad house and in horrible living.
- Xander,Dad the police are here!!
- After the father had been taken Xander had the idea that he would break him out of jail. So he decides to take the car to the jail house to break him out.
- Then there were two men that came out of the woods one in a wheel chair and the other one pushing him. His name was Keal the both of the men were called the gatekeepers. But the biggest thing was that he was their Uncle! After all of this happening The father is let back out but with the evil guy named Taksidian.
- And in the end of this book Keal and Xander are outside with a bone like flesh thing that had white skin and black eyes but before Keal could of shot the creature it retreated back into the woods in to the shadows.
