- Someone had called the police, and they emptied out the house pretty quick, escorting everyone to their cars. Me included. The blonde that had been with me earlier had disappeared. I noticed a mermaid headed for the same car as me. When she saw me, she yelled, "it was her!! Zay-Mech did it, ask anyone!!"
- A cop stood and guarded us, while the mermaid continued to whine and complain. I wanted to get out of here. When the guard went to change shifts, I stood up and walked through the front door, the mermaid yelling after me. She had been handcuffed earlier, but not me. I was good. And now I was free.
- I stopped running when a girl blocked me. It was the blonde from before, but she had changed outfits.
- Are you joking?!
- Do I have an option? Let's go...?!
- Come on, we have to get away. And you need an outfit change.
- Of course not! Are you coming with me or not? They're going to think you're guilty you know.
- I followed the girl over the chain-link fence and through the hills.
- I've dressed Aisling up as a Muslim girl. The costume actually fits her pretty well - she said she has Arab ancestry. I changed into a Sonic waiter's shirt and khaki pants. For once, I was actually glad that my sister Jules was obsessed with costumes.
- Aisling caught a friendly stray dog, made a makeshift leash from some rope, and that was how Sheo became a member of our little gang. We kept walking north. We didn't even think about home. We didn't look back.
- It was the girl who escaped! You have footage of her running away! We, uh, saw her murder James!
- Hmmm...Jane, alert all police in the surrounding area. Code 187 - murder
