  • Rising Action
  • Mr. Webster is a high school science teacher. As of late he has been noticing that most, if not ALL of his students are on their cell phones, rather than paying attention. This has been a growing trend, and he is fearing that it will only get worse. 
  • Climax
  • NO CELL PHONES USED DURING CLASS!!!
  • The cell phones are becoming used not only in Mr. Webster's class, but in all the other teachers classes as well. They have noticed that the students are always using social media, or watching YouTube rather than doing the work they have been assigned. 
  • Falling Action
  • The students are becoming extremely lazy, and are having their eyesight is becoming worse and worse with each passing day. Due to the students eyesight worsening, it has gotten to the point of they can not walk out of the bus, without falling. Mr. Webster and the other teachers are becoming worried, not only about the students, but the future of their jobs as well.
  • Resolution
  • Mr. Webster has been trying all he can do to get his students off of their cell phones. He has written a sign outside and inside the classroom,and has threatened to take away phones he sees. However, no matter what he does he can not get the student's attention. In fact that students are becoming more frustrated with each rule that becomes implemented.  
  • After a few days the once beloved teacher, had met with the principal to discuss the best way to get students off of their phones. Webster mentioned how the students were becoming defiant, and angry with him. After the conversation the principal agreed with Mr. Webster, they came up with ideas that the students would enjoy, and that would get them off their phones. 
  • After three months of the teachers trying to break the habit of the students of being on their phones, it finally worked. Students were getting better grades, and focusing. The teachers were better off as well. They no longer had to fight for their students attention, and were able to go back to teaching.
