  • I realized that matter is made of something that I named atoms, but I couldn't prove it because there was no technology.
  • I am the founder of the Plum Pudding Theory.
  • You may ask yourself, "why plum pudding." Well I named it plum pudding because an atom is made of electrons or negatively charged particles and they look like plums. And the protons or positively charged particles are surrounding the electrons like pudding.
  • J. J. Thomson: 1856-1940 I was born in Manchester, United Kingdom. I am married to Rose Paget and we have 2 beautiful children. My son has followed in my footsteps when he became a physicist and eventually won a Nobel Prize.
  • Democritus: 430-370 BC I was born in Abdera, Greece. My nickname is the "Laughing Philosopher. I came up with the name "Milky Way" for our galaxy.
  • I created an atomic model and it simply showed that an atom is a round structure that can change between objects.
