Description (of content)
This scene in the movie shows several different topics. One thing it shows is his values- it shows how much he values time in efficiency, doing anything that he can to make sure he doesn't miss a second on the clock . Another Thing it shows is his career choice- he made sure he'd work his hardest hoping he'd get a job at Dean Witters Reynolds where he did his internship. In a sense it also showed his needs and wants- he needs any job to sustain himself and his son which is what he was working towards; but he wanted that job to be as a stock broker for DWR.
