  • Interdiction to mitosis
  • helo im lucie and i will be talking about how mitosis works
  • first what is it? well a type of cell division that results in two daughter cells each having the same number and kind of chromosomes as the parent nucleus, typical of ordinary tissue growth.
  • stages of mitosis
  • these are the 4 stages of mitosis. the first stage prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase.
  • interphase
  • the mitotic (M) phase, the cell separates its DNA into two sets and divides its cytoplasm, forming two new cells.During, the cell grows and makes a copy of its DNA. During interphase
  • interphase what the cells spend most of there time in. whats inetrphase? its Interphase is the phase of the cell cycle in which a typical cell spends most of its life.
  • mitosis is a part of the cell cycle in which replicated chromosomes are separated into two new nuclei. Cell division gives rise to genetically identical cells in which the total number of chromosomes is maintained
  • Interphase - the 4 stages G1 S g2 and S
  • there are another 4 phases when mitiois falls into th einterphase. those stages are G1 G2 S and M
  • occur in strict sequential order, and cytokinesis - the process of dividing the cell contents to make two new cells - starts in anaphase or telophase phases These
  • end
  • thank you for reading this! both interphase and mitios are vary important to the human body
  • is the 'daily living' or metabolic phase of the cell, in which the cell obtains nutrients and metabolizes them, grows, replicates its DNA in preparation for mitosis, and conducts other "normal" cell functions.
  • G1 phase (cell growth),followed by S phase (DNA synthesis),, followed by G2 phase (cell growth). At the end of interphase comes the mitotic phase, which is made up of mitosis and cytokinesis and leads to the formation of two daughter cells.
  • i hope this is a good summary of what both interphase and mitosis are about and gives a brief explanation of what they do
