  • After the Qin Dynasty, the Han Dynasty formed trade routs and officially established trade with the West on what is called the "Silk Road" from approximately 130 B.C to 1453 A.D.
  • Chinese merchants exported silk, spices, tea and other goods.
  • The Silk Road was a network of routs (via land and sea) that traders utilized between China and Western Counties.
