Storyboard Text
- The Trojans, led by Aenas, escape the ruins of Troy and sailed to Italy.
- Aenas marries the local princess and they have a son called Ascanius.
- Many years later he becomes king, but his brother Amulius takes it from him.
- He builds a city called Alba Longa.
- Amulius forces numitor´s daughter to become a priestess so that she can´t have any children.
- She has twins, Romulus and Remus. Amulius tries to kill them by putting them in a basket and sending them down the river Tiber.
- But she becomes pregnant. She says the father was Mars, but more likely she had a relationship even though she wasn´t supposed to.
- Once the boys are grown they became shepherds. Remus is accused of being a thief and taken to prison.
- They are found. The lgend says a wolf find them, but it was more likely a shepherd and his wife.
- OR...
- Luckily his grandphther, Numitor, recognises him and frees him. They then kill their great-uncle Amulius and put Numitor back on the throne. As a reward he allows them to build their own city.
- The year is now 753BC. They decided to builb their own city, but they argue over to build it.
- AAAHHH!!!!!!!!!
- Romulus then stsrts to build the walls of the city on the Palatine Hill. Remus and him argued again and Romulus kills Remus. Romulus is angry with him self and so buries his brother with a big funeral.
- Romulus named his city Roma, after himself.
- YYYEEEEAAAHHH!!!
- The Sabines and Romulus went to war, with Romulus and the Romans winning. Romulus then made the sabines´city a colony of Rome.
