- The feud
- 60 years down the line
- Forbidden love
- In the backwoods of Southaven Mississippi once stood two men, befriends, and brothers of one another ready to start a partnership in the business of farming. Everything ran steady and the business was booming until one of the partners did something unforgivable. The partnership quickly did a dive with the two never wanting to speak again.
- The invitation
- 60 years had past since the farm went completely down hill and the brothers hadn't spoken since. The families swore to never speak of one another again, until the granddaughter from one side, Sandy Callaway and the grandson, Birdie Cunningham from other decided to leave home. Sandy nor Birdie had never heard of each other when they both left home at 18.
- It must be stopped
- Sandy and Birdie met each other 3 years later through a mutual friend. It was almost as if it was love at first site. Neither Birdie or Sandy had talked to their families since they left home, they liked it this way. It eventually become the two of them against the world.
- A means to an end
- The day was only a few weeks away. The planning of the perfect Christmas wedding was finally over. As the two began to think they were always meant to cross paths, they couldn't be happier and more in love.
- SAVE THE DATE!
- As the families received the invitations in the mail their faces lit up with joy until they saw the last names. The families hadn't spoken in years and they assumed it couldn't be either a Callaway or a Cunningham from their family. The moms broke and decided they needed to make that call. Once they had realized it was their kids they knew they had to stop the cousins from getting married.
- The day is here! The happiest day of all. Sandy and Birdie agreed to not take any calls a few days before their wedding so they could focus of what was important. As half of the family didn't want to go and witness the other half wanted to ruin it with a scene. The two families came to the first agreement in 60 years. As they arrived they saw the two so in love and hated to break their hearts but it needed to be done. As the family told Birdie and Sandy they began to laugh it off and use the venue for a family Christmas together.
