- the goddesses were tired of fighting about who is the fairest so they have paris choose the fairest. paris chooses aphrodite to give the apple to, she promised him a wife fair as her.

- paris does not want to be with oenone he wants to be with helen, helen decides to leave her baby and king menelaus to be with paris.
- king menelausfinds out that helen left him to be with paris. king menelaus is starting a war to fight for helen. he gathers all his men and starts a war.
- achilles claims the sword from the pack it breaks the spell his mother put on him it reveals he is a warrior and need to go fight.
