Hey! Can you meet me in the diner in 15? I need some help with our math test.
Ummm yea sure. I'll see ya there.
15 minutes later...
Okay so what do you need help with?
I don't understand cube roots or square roots.
Square roots are a little easier because its a number when multiplied by itself equals a specific number so 7 is the square root of 49 because 7 x 7 = 49.
Cube roots are one of the three identical factors of a number that is the product of those factors. For example Three is the cube root of 27 because 3 x 3 x 3 = 27.
That makes a lot of sense now! So basically a cube root is like a square root except you multiply the number 3 times by itself instead of 2.
