- So the situation in Europe has progressed into war. This is a very difficult situation.

- The U.S has declared themselves as neutral but this is a bad situation.
- In 1917, The U.S. had decided to end their neutrality and enter the war.
- The U.S. couldn't forgive the Germans and their allies. The Sinking of the Lusitania, the Zimmerman Telegram, and their tactic of unrestricted submarine warfare.
