I acted very immaturely around Avery. I should have confronted her and asked if I had done anything wrong instead of ignoring her, she could be going through something.
Scene 5: Regulation
I am going to take some deep breaths and go to see if I can sort some things out with Avery. I just need to stay calm and take some deep breaths so I don't overreact.
Scene 6: Repair Relationships
Hi Avery, can we talk? I'm so sorry that I ignored you, I now know that that was the wrong thing to do.
Thank you for apologising Lily, I'm sorry aswell!! I was never upset with you so I am sorry I took my anger out on you!
Lily takes herself away to think because she knows that she is not acting very maturely. Lily realises that she was feeling very upset that Avery was ignoring her and so she wanted to ignore Avery to show Avery that it didn't bother her. Lily never stopped to think that maybe she was hurting Avery because Avery was never mad at her in the first place.
Lily knows that she has done the wrong thing by ignoring Avery, she should have been the bigger person and tried to sort things out. However, she decides that it is never too late to try to make up with a friend and do the right thing. So Lily takes some deep breaths to calm herself down so she can be calm and not overreact so she can listen to everything Avery has to say.
Lily takes a few deep breaths and then calmly walks up to Avery to ask her what's wrong. She is doing the right, mature thing that she should have done from the beginning. Avery sees this gesture as being very responsible and so she apoligises aswell and they can now adress the problem before it gets too big and their egos get in the way.
