I am George Washington!
George Washington? He was just a president. That is pretty boring Fredrick.
He was not just a president. He was the first ever president of the United States of America!
Really!? Cool! But he is not that popular though. He was not that important.
He is actually very important. He helped build the foundation of our government from writing the U.S. Constitution to providing basic laws to govern the country.
OH WOW!! So the government we have today is all thanks to Washington!?? He IS important!
OH! I know he also elected to the Virginia House of Burgess and was also interested in agriculture!!
Yeah! He is! He was raised in a farm in Virginia with his 6 other siblings! You know before presidency he was a Commander for Virginia then Commander-in-chief during the revolutionary war!! He was also a very strong one too!
He alsobelieved in complete separation of church and state. Which is why he embraced many of the ideals of the European Enlightenment.
WOW!! I will dress up as George Washington next year then! *giggle
Unlike most presidents Washington stood for national freedom, he was an independent. He wanted to protect the freedom and liberty of the people.
