Storyboard Text
- Learners are split into pairs and given instruction. One person tells a story for 2 minutes (Anything). The other person is to act bored/uninterested for the 1st minute without the person telling the story knowing what they are doing.
- After the 1st minute, the person talking will begin to feel uncomfortable as if they are not being listened to. Change in room ambience.
- During the 2nd minute, the person doing the listening makes a conscious effort to show interest through body language skills, nodding gestures and paraphrasing without informing person telling the story what they are doing. Taking note of the change of expression on the person telling the story.
