- Mademoiselle sat at home before her husband came home thinking to herself that she was very unhappy with this way of life. She wanted to sit in lavishes and have so many jewels she couldn't even count o fingers.
- Climax
- Her husband soon came home with two tickets to the upcoming ball, and the tickets were very hard to get and she was upset that she wouldn't have anythr to the ball so he gave her the money he saved up to buy a new rifle to get a dress.
- Falling Action
- She went to her rich friends house to barrow some jewelry for the ball and she chose a very shiny necklace that looked like all diamonds.
- Resolution
- She went to the ball and she had the best time of her life. She was dancing with a whole bunch of people. But it was soon time to go. So her and her husband took a taxi home. When they got soorealized the necklace was missing.
- They called the taxi company, Search the building the ball was held at. They couldn't find it anywhere, she didn't want to tell her friend she lost her necklace, so she went to every jewelry shop in town and look for one just like it. They found one that was for 100,000 pounds. and they were paying it off for ten years.
- Mademoiselle was going to the store to get some bread when she ran into her rich friend she hadn't seen since she gave back replacement necklace, and called her over to talk. She told her friends what had happened ten years ago, and her friend told her that that necklace was a fake one.
