- The Electoral College are representatives who vote for the President and Vice President.
- Checks and Balances
- Congress is made up of the house of representatives and the Senate. Congress makes the nations laws and represents the people.
- Constitution
- WE THE PEOPLE of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
- The separation of Powers divides the US Government into three branches. Judicial, Legislative, and executive branches.
- Oligarchy
- Checks and Balances gives each of the governments branches rights to stop the other branches actions so that neither branch has too much power.
- The Constitution establishes the fundamental laws for the US and written in it states the rights of the citizens.
- Oligarchy is a type of government run by a small, self-appointed elite. One Country who uses this classification of government is China.
