If you have Beatrice drinks this liquid she will be cured.
In Rappaccini's garden, Giovanni looks at all the flowers and Beatrice comes out to talk to him. As Giovanni is walking through the garden he walks into the pink flowers in the center of the garden. This scene brings us to the conflict of the story. Giovanni has touched the poisonous flowers.
After weeks of not seeing Giovanni, Baglioni visits him and informs him that Beatrice might be leading him to a trap.
Before Baglioni leaves, he offers Giovanni a brown phial. Inside the phial, there is a liquid that Baglioni says will cure Beatrice if she drinks it. This scene shows us the rising action of the story and another example of the theme of corruption.
