Newton's First Law of Motion!
So... Newton's first law of motion:
Would you like me to explain it to you?
I'm having trouble with Physics. Newton's 1st law doesn't really make sense to me!
'An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion (going at the same velocity, and acceleration) will stay in motion, unless acted upon by another force.'
Let's say I'm sitting in this chair, not accelerating, or moving.I will stay like this until another force acts on me! (Katie pushing me)
And when I've been pushed, I'll keep going forwards in the chair, until another force (Friction, Gravity, or the ball in this case) stops me!
Now you're getting it!
So, can you explain it to me?
Can I just have one more thing?
I need you to explain Newton's Second Law...
Yeah, I can! So if something is still, and if something is moving, the both will keep doing what they're doing!
