- Harald Hardrada, William Duke of Normandy and Harold Godwinson all want the throne and will attack to become king. William would attack from the south and Harald Hardrada would attack the NE, from Norway.
- A planed yet unplanned battle
- ATACKKK!!
- Where are the rest!
- I don't know we've all split up!
- Harald Hardrada's men come in 300 boats, 10,000 men and took over York.
- One for all, All for one
- Ill hold them back!

- Harold Godwinson marches 180 miles north, House carls were collected on the way to save time. After a long journey they took a break at Tadcaster.
- The final minutes
- Harold Godwinson attacked Harald Hardrada it would have been a fair fight but Harald Hardrada's army left their armour on the ships which was a big mistake plus they were all split up what a disaster.
- An axeman in Harald Hardrada's army held back and killed 40 English men on the bridge!! All of a sudden an arrow directly at Harald Hardrada's throat was shot. In Harold Godwinson won the battle what a victory.
- Only 24 boats out of the 300 returned. They thought the battle had finished but little did they know William Duke of Normandy attacked in the south!!
