- It was time to go to the meet. The runners started getting onto the bus to head over to Orange Grass
- The team started warmups. Chad could hear some lousy talk about him

- One morning, Chad met Jamaal Sanders

- Each practice, Chad got faster and faster

- Warmups for the 3 mile race had begun. Coach was skeptical about putting chad in the race, but still had hope
