Hey! my secretary Laura and I will be transferring to our branch in Mexico next Tuesday...got any advice for us?
Yes! I definitely have some Advice that you might find helpful.
Business formal is often worn in the capital of Mexico.
For business formal, men should wear a dark suit and a tie, your wardrobe should include classic lines and tailoring Gary or navy, and white and light blue shirts.
Women should wear a dress or skirt and blouse. You can also throw on a classic suit. Build a wardrobe using classic lines, classic skirt lengths. Basic colours like gray, white, navy, ivory are a must in a wardrobe.
Women can either wear blouse with pants or a skirt for casual. Your wardrobe must have classic shades of gray, blue, camel, white and ivory and you will look like a professional.
In the provinces of Mexico , business causal wear is acceptable.
For casual, men may wear pants and a light shirt. Use classic colours, plus camel and you will be casual, yet polished.
Consider wearing a guayaberas, the wonderful traditional lightweight shirt, you wear over you pants.
Anything I should watch out for?
Jeans, tights or any low cut clothing are a big NO NO.
