- I propose the Virginia plan! It will be made into 3 branches. Executive, judicial, and legislative.

- No! We, the south, want an equal number of votes per state.
- The New Jersey plan is perfect! 1 vote per state. Give gov. power to tax and commerce
- WE'RE GOING WITH THE VIRGINIA PLAN.
- How about a 3/5 rule? That only 3/5 of the slave population is considered human population.
- If we vote by population of state, what are we going to do about slave population?
- We shouldn't consider slaves part of the human population in general
- Trade is what we depend on for goods to have and sell.
- No foreigners will want to pay taxes for trade.
- With national government power to regulate trade, we're going to lose foreign business trade
- Permit for slave importation until 1807 and permission to persue runaway slaves.

- We are federalists which means we support a strong national government that ensures strong currency and property rights

- I am not wealthy but I am still a federalist because I think it'll bring stability and provide protection against violent protests
- 3. The new system resembles a monarchy because of concentration of power which violates principles of liberty. What we fought for in the first place.
