- The Sugar Act took place in 1763, this tax allowed officers to be able to take items away from smugglers, without going to court.

- The next act was the Stamp Act, which made all papered goodin colonies, have a tax on them in 1765.

- The Quartering Act happened in 1765, this act forced colonists out of their own homes and feed the British, also known as the Redcoats.

- After all these laws and acts, colonists have had enough, which leads to the Boston Tea party in 1773. Sam Adams formed the sons of liberty to peacefully make a statement by dumping millions of tea into the Boston hardboard, making King George furious.
