- I heard an owl and crickets.. did you say anything?
- who's sleeping in the second chamber?
- That's a terrible sight
- Macbeth starts freaking out about what he just did and starts to feel guilty. Lady Macbeth thinks he is freaking out for no reason.

- Why would you say that?
- It's donalbain..
- We can’t think about this. It’ll drive us crazy!
- Macbeth starts to talk about how he heard voices before he murdered Duncan and starts going a little crazy. Lady Macbeth had no idea what he was talking about.
- Why couldn't I say amen?
- Lady Macbeth notices that Macbeth still has the daggers in his hand. She tells him to go put them back and smear the blood on the guards. Macbeth refuses to go back because he is too scared.
- Why did you bring these daggers out of the room? They have to stay there.
- I won’t go back again. I’m afraid to think about what I’ve done.
- Lady Macbeth takes the initiative to take the daggers back to the room and smear the blood on the guards. Suddenly, they hear knocking..
- You useless coward! Give me the daggers.
- Macbeth thinks he is going crazy when he hears the knocking but Lady Macbeth hears it too and suggests they go back to their room.
