  • Dorothy is deciding switching sides going back slavery, or joining the war. She chose do disguise herself as a man to get away from slavery. She realizes that she wants to fight in the war after her brother dies.
  • Dorothy gets a dull shoulder ache from taking a ball at Camden. The British finally give her a pass.
  • Dorothy hopes to find a home as soon as she gets off the ship. Dorothy prefers her adopted name Alexander freeman and one day become herself again.
