The Planning Cell sounds difficult with a lot of important work, so maybe I should check out the next cell...
Hello, I am what is known as a "sleeper". this means that I am a part of the terrorist organization, however I am not a part of any of the missions until I am activated by either a signal, a chain of events or the leader themself.
For example, in the Cold War, sleeper cells were employed as officers working with the foreign intelligence service. They would be there to gather information to prepare in case war broke out.
The sleepers could work undercover for years without any one knowing what and who they are really working for because they blend right in with everyone else.
However, with this amount of pressure and living in constant fear you must be mentally prepared to undergo the endless amounts of stress.
There are also concerns about sleepers not being loyal to their job. An example of this could be that the sleeper becomes loyal to the target country and no longer wants to be apart of the mission.
