- Hey Layla, I'm just worried about the Culture Festival tomorrow.
- What's the matter, Caleb?
- I'm just not sure how people will react to who I am and what my culture's values are.
- That doesn't sound too bad...
- I went to it last year, it was amazing! I got to see so many people's ethnic backgrounds and make so many new friends!
- I would love to be able to explain the history of UAE and how our traditions were created!
- I think I saw a booth ran by UAE students there too! It's a great way to view other values, traditions, perspectives, and overall communities of one another.
- This is a perfect opportunity to grow as a person, and become interested in seeing situations from other points of views, because of how many different ways of thinking everyone has.
- Talking to other people and asking about their opinions on subjects helped me grow so much as a person. They opened up my views and gave me lots of new ideas.
- Thank you so much Layla, I don't even know why I was worried anymore!
