  • Why does the bus take so long?
  • I don´t believe that.
  • Well you should Boy. You better get home and protect them kids of yours. While me and some of my men shoot them.
  • When the white people came and burned down the place.
  • What people were thinking and saying after the Tulsa Race Massacre happened
  • I have lost my family, my home, and my food.
  • Its ok honey we can build a house for people who don´t have a home.
  • And I will get some wood and I will find some stuff to build with.
  • I'll hitch up the team.
  • This slide is about how Greenwood was perfect until the Tulsa Race Massacre Started. People were telling other people that the Whites were coming to burn down other buildings. And that they were bringing guns. People were packing up their stuff and leaving and other people didn't believe it. But they would soon.
  • Everybody was working as a team to rebuild Greenwood.
  • A whole bunch of people. Around 100 people died. Some white people died and some black people died. Fires were everywhere and people were crying. Some families were hiding their kids in their house.
  • How redlining affects Greenwood.
  • Man I hate redlining because it is making it hard to access mortgage loans.
  • Ya I know how you feel me and my wife have credit risk and its hard to have homwownership.
  • This slide is about what people were about to build and what that they were going to do when it comes to food and a place to stay. Everyone was sad because they might of lost someone in there family. I would be crying too if I was in this situation.
  • How Urban Renewal affected Greenwood
  • HAHA, I am glad that they put this highway here now the black people won´t have a lot.HEHEHE!!!
  • Why did they put this highway here? couldn´t they have put it somewhere else. We already don´t have a lot.
  • Everybody is working together to rebuild greenwood! People are sad that all this happened but they know that if they work together then they can do it!
  • Redlining affected Greenwood by having local mortgage companies deem redlined areas, comprised of mostly low-income minorities, to be credit risks, making it impossible for many residents to access mortgage loans, furthering the homeownership and wealth gap.
  • After the race massacre all but destroyed Greenwood and its thriving business district, black residents remarkably rebuilt it even stronger than before, until urban renewal projects and construction of Interstate 244 forever changed its economic landscape. That is how urban renewal affected Greenwood.
