- Fudge escaped his crib and ran into the kitchen wearing a gorilla mask, scaring Mrs. Yarby and spilling coffee all over the floor.
- Fudge wouldn't eat for days. Then his mom tried feeding him under the table like a dog. He ate there for an entire week. Then, his dad had enough and dumped a whole bowl of cereal on his head.
