- That does happen in some countries like China and Cuba! It's called Communism.
- Mom, why can't everything belong to everyone? Why can't every one easily have what they need, when they need it?
- Well, it's just what you said earlier. Communism is the belief of everything being owned by the people, rather than by one specific person. It's where everything's available to everyone as needed! That means no private property, the government owns everything! The government's job in a society that follows communism is simply to provide equality for all!
- Wait, mom? What's communism mean again?
- Wait, mom? They have communism in China, right?
- Let's go to China, then! So that I can ride the boat!
