Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • I can't wait for my husband to get home.
  • Conflict
  • We need to get a divorce it will be better for me and my job.
  • Rising Action
  • I can't believe he would do this to me.
  • Mary Maloney was eagerly waiting in her living room for her husband to come home from work, with drinks made and a freshly cleaned house.
  • Climax
  • After getting settles Mr. Maloney decides he wants to have a conversation with his wife. He reveals he wants a divorce.
  • Falling Action
  • Patrick, he's, he's dead.
  • Mary, in shock, tries to go on like nothing happened. She makes an effort to continue a conversation and even begin making dinner.
  • Resolution
  • Though she tried, Mary could not get her mind off of what her husband had just revealed to her. That's when she makes the spontanous decision to kill her husband using the meat she was going to make for dinner.
  • Mary is then left with trying to cover up the mess she had just mad for herself. She begins creating a story of what happened, making sure no one would suspect it was her. The police are called, and she tells them her story, they eat it right up, giving her all the sympathy possible.
  • After a lot of persuasion, the cops eat the only piece of evidence that could ever get Mary in trouble, the lamb leg. Mary was left cackling in her chair, never caught, never even had her innocence questioned.
  • Those foolish officers.
