Cattle was domesticated around 10.500 ago. They were introduced by explorers and settlers from England. The longhorn cattle is the oldest breed to be brought to America by Christopher Columbus. It became the foundation for the Texas longhorn breed.In 1493 Columbus made a second voyage carrying the cattle on the ship to the new world. Only small number of cattle were brought over. You can use cattle for veal,leather,milk,beef and milk could be turned into dairy products. The Americans were very grateful with what they can do and get out of it.
