Jefferson Davis was born in Christian, Kentucky, on June 3, 1808 and later died in December 6, 1889. During (1862-1865) he became the first president of the Confederate States throughout the Civiil War. As large parts of the Confederacy got captured he began to loose power.

Abraham Lincoln was born February 12, 1809 and later died on April 15, 1865. After Abraham Lincoln became the 16th president of the United States he helped most with creating the Thirteenth Amendment that stated the ending of slavery.

Ulysses . Grant was born on April 27, 1822 and later died on July 23, 1885. In 1861 through 1865 he became the 18th president for 8 years. Ulysses and he led the Union Army into the American Civil War.
William H. Carney was born on February 29, 1840 and later died on December 9, 1908. William H. Carney was the first African American that was granted for the Medal of Honor. During the Civil War he was an African American soldier and in 1863 he had saved the American flag during the the Battle of fort Wagner.

Sailor Philip Bazaar was born in Chile, South America, he was a United States Navy sailor who was granted the Medal of Honor, he was the best military enhancement of the United States for valor in battle. Philip Bazaar he separated himself and fought for Fort Fisher in the American Civil War.
