- Kennedy is shown the photos of the missiles on Cuba
- Kennedy creates EXCOMM
- Kennedy informs Krushchev that he knows about the missiles by Telegram
- Kennedy moves military forces towards the south before continuing with a normal routine in order to refrain from alarming the public. Kennedy later decides on a Naval Quarantine around Cuba. Kennedy does not reveal to the Soviet Foreign minister that they know about the missiles.
- The second telegram

- The president created the Executive committee of the national Security council, instructing it to meet daily. He then informs Truman, Eisenhower and Hoover along with the Cabinet and Congressional Leaders
- Khrushchev's demands
- Kennedy then goes on to announce the crisis on TV to the American Public. On Day 8, the naval blockade is put into place and the matter is put before the UN security council. Unrevealed to the public, Bobby Kennedy meets with the Soviet ambassador.
- The end of it
- Khrushchev replies to Kennedy's telegram, accusing him of being forceful. The Soviet ships that were stopped by the blockade turn back. Kennedy sends another telegram to Khrushchev, urging him to change the course of events due to the fact that some missiles are ready to be launched.
- Khrushchev replies to Kennedy's telegram, telling him that he will remove the missiles from Cuba if Kennedy agrees to remove the US missiles from Turkey and state publically that he will not invade Cuba. Bobby Kennedy and the Soviet Ambassador, again, meet and come to a democratic conclusion.
- It is announced on Radio Moscow and by Kennedy that the crisis is over. The missiles have been removed from Cuba and Turkey and Kennedy makes a statement saying that he will no invade Cuba
