At the beginning of the story, Bruno isn't happy to find out that his family is moving from Berlin to Poland due to Father getting a new job.
Let's keep looking for Papa.
I don't like the look of this, I just want to go home.
What are these people doing if this goes on I won't get back home in time for dinner.
After the move, Bruno really misses his house in Berlin and his friends. But soon he makes a secret new friend named Shmuel who lives on the other side of the fence at "Out-With".
They are marching it might take a minute but the people that are start marching I've never heard from again.
Bruno finds out that he is moving back to Berlin, so he and Shmuel come up with a plan to dress Bruno in striped pajamas and sneak him into the Concentration Camp.
While Bruno was on the other side of the fence. They started searching for Shmuel's Papa but didn't find him, and Bruno disliked his surroundings and wanted to go home.
Before Bruno can leave the camp, He and Shmuel get caught up in a group of Jews that are being taken to the Gas Chamber, and Bruno is never heard from again.
One possible theme for this story is that the choices we make can affect not only us but other people as well.
