- The setting starts inside the treasure room with a King his name was Midas. in the treasure room the King smiles he was happy being surrounded by his gold. it was the thing he loved most ,that's what he says.
- But the Dialogue with the King talking to a stranger who comes to Midas while he was in his treasure room. but the stranger asks Midas a question. a question of what had made Midas happy.
- The Irony King Midas smiles at the gold. Midas looks at the stranger without hesitating. telling the stranger that gold was what made him truly happy in life.
- For External conflicts Midas wakes up the next morning and everything he touched turned into gold , just like the stranger had said. but because his food an water had turned to gold. he was not happy with the outcome he thought how could he possibly eat. and when he turned his daughter into gold he was devastated and realized she was who mad him happy.
- Before Midas had the Golden Touch his Characterization Midas was a greedy man. he couldn't possibly think this was enough gold. he said it would take a thousand of years for him to feel rich.
- After Midas had turned his very daughter into gold he had realized what had made him really happy. the stranger showed Midas how to get rid of the golden touch ad bring his daughter back. after that Midas told the children of his story and said "he hated the sight of gold". the Theme being Don't be greedy just enjoy what you have in life
