- Class, today we are going to start constructions.
- Oooo, I wonder what we are building? Can it be a house?
- Set your compass 2/3 length of a horizontal line. Draw a circle.
- Will we need our tools and a hard hat?
- I love the enthusiasm, but before you can build a house you have to know how to build the shape.
- Once you have your first circle, make sure to keep the compass the same and draw another circle on the opposite side.
- Grab your tools. You will need a compass and a ruler.
- Connect the overlapping points of the two circles. You have now created a perpendicular bisector.
