- 23rd amendment
- ok we will give you guys 3 electoral votes
- we should be allowed to vote because washington DC is a part of the united states
- 24th amendment
- ok we will make it so anyone who can vote by law is not restricted by something like a poll tax
- these racist people want us to pay to vote but we cant afford it
- 25th amendment
- hmm ok then so we will say that the vp will become acting prez until the real prez can successfully perform his duties, and if he dies or resigns then the vp will become prez for real
- oh dang the president is unable to successfully perform his duties
- the 23rd amendment allows washington dc to have 3 electoral votes in the us election
- the 24th amendment says that you cannot prevent a lawfully voting citizen from voting by using a restriction, like a poll tax
- the 25th amendment says that if the president is unable to perform his presidential duties, then the vp will fulfill those duties until the president is able to, and if the president resigns or dies, then the vp becomes president.
